Cover Ideas for digipak

Cover Ideas for digipak

As mentioned previously from my research into Digipaks I had found that some contained an edited still or similar imagery from the music video the album is attached to. With this in mind I decided to screen cap certain scenes from my music video which I best felt either summarised the themes of the music video effectively as well as offering an interesting composition or would have the potential in conveying my initial reaction to hearing the song as well as the pace and type of song. In addition to this during filming I also took photos of various shoots in preparation for this.

In terms of featuring my artists face on the cover in terms of there promotion as previously discussed it is a convention for anonymity to an artist within techno/electronic styles of music hence I have decided to either feature the robot or robots face on the cover as a substitute as well as keeping with the synergy of the video since the artist himself wasn't directly featured or perhaps use more abstract imagery to represent another character present in the video; the virus itself.
